Ensemble BlauerReiter

The Ensemble BlauerReiter, a young, but highly dynamic and already clearly audible voice in Munich’s contemporary music scene, was founded by Armando Merino in 2014. In its concert programs, the ensemble devotes itself to the music of the twentieth century including the performance of contemporary scores in close collaboration with composers of different cultural circles.

In addition to their high artistic quality it is the willingness to experiment and the creation of colourfully diverse concert evenings which distinguishes the Ensemble. The name “Blauer Reiter” refers to the famous Munich group of avantgarde artists, which, at the beginning of the twentieth century, led the way towards modern Art with their curiosity and their search for new forms of expression. The members of the Ensemble BlauerReiter come from Germany, Spain, Italy and Greece and all have many years of international experience in the performance of contemporary Music.
